The deer enjoying the "drops" from Grandpa's Yellow Transparent apple tree

Grandpa’s Grand Applesauce began with a lone "Yellow Transparent" variety apple tree nestled in the woods. Each year on a sunny fall day, Grandpa would take the apples and put them through a hand-cranked press outside before simmering them on a stove with delicious fall spices. The children in the family began calling it Grandpa’s Grand Applesauce and the name stuck. We are proud to be sharing our family recipe with you.
